Beginning Jewelry/Metals

This class will cover basic metalsmithing and jewelry techniques including cutting out pieces of metal, putting on texture, riveting, basic soldering skills, basic forming techniques, and setting a cabochon stone. 3 finished pieces minimum. Basic materials, metal (copper and brass) and tools are supplied; an optional materials list will be available. This class can be taken up to 2 times, after that we recommend taking the intermediate/advanced jewelry class.

Fee:  $98, ACC Residents, $147 Non-ACC Residents
Registration:  Registration begins Saturday, November 11 at 9:00 a.m. for ACC residents.  Non-residents may register starting Monday, November 13 at noon.  Register online for this program.
